Ingredients

  • 8 oz Cream Cheese

  • 1 Cup Milk

  • 12 Eggs

  • 1 Cup Sharp Cheddar Cheese

  • 1/4 Cup Flour

  • 30 oz Shredded Hash Browns (thawed)

  • 1 Lb Breakfast Sausage

  • 1 Tsp Salt

  • 1 Tsp Black Pepper

Directions

  • Preheat oven to 350F. Grease the bottom of a 9 x 13 baking dish with cooking spray.
  • Cook the sausage in a skillet on medium high heat until cooked through. After draining the sausage, wipe off any extra grease with paper towels. Then set aside.
  • In a mixing bowl, mix the salt and pepper with the hash browns. After that, gently fold in the cream cheese, distributing it evenly among the hash browns.
  • Distribute the hash brown mixture evenly inside the bottom of a 9 x 13 baking dish.
  • Add the sausage and half of the cheese evenly over the hash brown mixture.
  • Place the flour in a bowl and add the milk gradually until all of it has been incorporated. Next, after adding each egg, whisk the mixture one more time to ensure smoothness. The sausage and hash brown dish should be covered with the egg mixture.
  • Top with the remaining cheese and bake for 35 to 45 minutes. Enjoy!

  • Ensure that the meat has been drained before adding it to the breakfast casserole if you’re using any meat.
  • Ways to tell if breakfast is finished: When the outer edges have turned golden brown and even the egg mixture inside has firmed up. Check for doneness with a toothpick or check with an instant read thermometer.
